Hot take

You can position yourself as an authority and attract ideal clients with a 10‑second B‑roll meme post that mocks the bullshit offers in your niche.

Why it works

The video leans on creator FOMO: a trend that 'accidentally' worked for the creator and their clients, framed as 'I'm not gatekeeping' to imply insider knowledge. It lowers the barrier by making the content format sound almost stupidly simple (stand, walk, add text), then adds a clever copywriting twist that lets viewers vent about industry nonsense while positioning themselves as the alternative. Concrete proof points—clients going viral, ideal followers, specific follower numbers—reduce skepticism and make this feel replicable rather than luck.

Swipe-file takeaways

  • Open with 'I'm not gatekeeping' + 'accidentally started a trend' to trigger curiosity and fear of missing out.
  • Show that multiple clients have used the same format successfully to stack social proof, not just your own win.
  • Teach a low‑effort, repeatable content format (simple B‑roll + text frame) so viewers feel they can implement it today.
  • Use playful satire of industry 'bullshit offers' to bond with your audience while implicitly positioning your offer as the sane alternative.
  • Include a specific, almost exaggerated fake price/offer in the example to heighten humor and shareability.

Full script

Okay. I'm not gatekeeping because yesterday I literally made this post and I accidentally started a trend. All of my clients did it and you can see they all posted it. Some of them have already gone viral. Almost every single one of them has gotten ideal clients following them just from this one post and it's going to take you less than 60 seconds to make it a B roll stance. I literally, if you guys ever seen my post, I literally just, Click record, put my camera up. I walk back. I stand there for like four or five seconds and then I walk up and I stop it. That's it. That's my B roll. And then over the B roll, you're just going to use this frame, my offer for blank so that I fit in with the rest of the market. And all you're going to do is you're going to write the bullshit things that other people in your industry are doing inside of the offer that you just don't. Now you're not calling anybody out. You're not saying like this person, these people, these companies, no, no, be tasteful with it. But what this is doing and then, oh, sorry. And then at the end you do like a really insane price point for a very short amount of time. So I think I said like $90,000 for 90 days or something like that. And so what this is doing is there's humor, ha ha ha, everybody's sharing a laugh, but what you're doing without realizing it is you're positioning yourself as an authority because you're clearly showing people in your niche that this way of making offers isn't what you align with. And that automatically pulls you on the other side of that bullshit. You don't even have to say anything. My video was an 11 second, I think less than that B roll clip and it got me 12 follows and I haven't even posted a day ago. Now, to be honest, My content just has not been getting a lot of reach at all for like the last month or two. No big deal. That's part of the game. But these posts like this are still bringing in super ideal clients into my following all organically. Try it out. It's working for all my clients. Let me know how it goes.
